Keith's Big Bike Ride for Connor Keith... My name is Keith Millard, I am a keen cyclist and have thought about taking on the Land's End to John O'Groats cycle ride for some time. I have always lacked the time and motivation to organise myself enough though! Until now that is... When I heard that my Godson Connor needed to have this operation I began to think of ways I could help and ways of raising some money. It wasn't long before I decided to finally take on the Land's End to John O'Groats cycle ride. I've wanted to do the trip for a long time, this was the perfect reason and gave me the drive and motivation I needed. I am doing the trip with Bike Adventures, they will organise my food and accomodation each day so I can focus on cycling, it also means I will be cycling with a group which will help with morale on those long hills!! I arrive at Land's End on Saturday June 9th 2007, the ride should take 17 days, go to the Calendar tab and look at June to see where I plan to be each day and how many miles I will cover. As the ride progresses I plan to update the website daily by sending photos from my phone and updates on the ride to my girlfriend to add to the site.
