Keith's Big Bike Ride for Connor Connor... Connor Andrew Rose is my Godson. He is 8 years old and he has Cerebral Palsy. Keith, Connor and Connors little sister Sharna This condition affects his arms, legs and trunk. He is constantly in spasm and has been all his life. This makes his extremely frustrated and uncomfortable. Up until now he has managed to control his spasms but is finding it harder every day. Despite having regular physiotherapy, reflexology and chiropractic treatment his body is now rapidly deteriorating due to his increased muscle tone. He is a very happy go lucky little boy, who will talk to just about anyone - he's not shy! He has a wicked sense of humour, is VERY cheeky and always has a smile to share . There is very little treatment available to help Connor, except for a 'Baclofen Pump'. This is inserted underneath the skin and dispenses a constant amount of Baclofen (a muscle relaxant) directly to his arms, legs and trunk.
